Bright and Beautiful Things

Duration

2.5 min

Venue

Tai Kwun Block 14 Long Wall

While Hong Kong is rapidly changing, Tai Kwun stands as a symbol of the city's preserved history. This animation uses traditional aesthetics of Chinese ink painting to explore the intersection of Hong Kong’s architectural heritage and its natural landscapes. As a journey through the four seasons begins, local symbolic animals like goldfish, shop cats and spotted doves interact with the historic Block 14. This story concludes with a blossom scene to celebrate the arrival of spring and the start of the new year.
